MIMI ( EDISON ): SAFER DRIVERS SENIORS VS TEENAGERS

What  makes driving safer? Having less seniors on the road or less teenagers on the road. It all depends.  Statistically teenagers have a higher risk to be involved in a car accident. New teenage drivers tend to speed, take more risk, and talk on the cell phone/text while driving. Which in this case a  parent has  the choice to decide whether their teenager is responsible enough to be behind the wheel. On the other hand, seniors are a more experience driver but they are more likely to be involved in a fatal accident.Sometimes even being a precautious driver can lead into accidents.  There have been situations where seniors drive too slow or lane changing without looking, reason being seniors health depletes over time such as mental or health conditions ( vision, hearing, judgment etc).  Should there be a requirement for seniors at a certain age to retake a driving exam?
