Social Sites: Not so social!

Internet is one of the greatest forms of communication, more in particular social sites. The affect many social sites, such as Facebook and Myspace, has on society is much greater than what was expected.  From what was once a friendly site is now becoming one’s life.  Social sites were made to create new friendships and reconnect with old ones. However, that made a full 360 turn and became a site that breaks many friendships and causes failures in relationships. It forms poor communication skills due to the simple fact that people who once use to speak face to face now write each other. Many people lose jobs and opportunities to receive jobs because of the things they exploit on these social sites. Although, this was not the motive the creators intended on for these means of communications society has developed it into its own personal lifestyle.

Today many people do expose things that employers look into and causes them to lose a job opportunity. But should they have the right to do this? Social sites were made for friends and reconnects as you say then why should they have the right to look into ones personal life? I do understand what you are saying and feel that these social sites are exposed and they are not to be blamed for these opportunities lost.
