The economy sucks, we all know that, and its only natural that people who are feeling the pinch are in need of some stress relief. You would think that xanax sales would be threw the roof, however, a study done by the Children s Hospital of Pittsburgh found that parents are resorting to shaking there kids to relieve their financial stress. The study shows a significant increase in cases of shaken baby syndrome since the stat of the current recession. The economy in the condition its in has only added fuel to the fire by cutting financing of programs that are designed to prevent and address child abuse. What kind of government allows things to get so bad that shaken baby syndrome is on the rise? I bet the CEO of Goldman Sacks isn’t shaking his baby. Capitalism is the true cause of the state of our union. American citizens are oblivious to the fact that the few in power have single handily flushed this country down the toilet and don’t even have to suffer the consequences of their actions. Don’t worry capital building, we will take our frustration out on our kids, instead of bombing Times Square.
