Same sex marriage mmm... I personally do not have a problem with it. But a majority of the people in our society do. One of the main causes for this would be because same sex marriage is not the social NORM. It is not what most people are aquired to, and it's different. Many people immidiatly make different bad. And I do not think that is so. I do not think that society has the right to say if one human being can love or want to marry another human being reguardless of the gender. You cannot stop how you feel for someone. Now granted people do not want to see people making out or getting naked on the steets. This goes for straight or gay people. these people should have enough respect for themselves and others to save this stuff for behind closed doors, where all intimacy shoud remain.

The definition of marriage has changed so drastically over the years that people are freeking out when couples are actually in love and want to get married. We see so many couples marry to try and fix their problems they may have, or even because they have or are having kids. Its become more or an emotional crutch that a commitment. There is no rule that says love has to contain a male and a female. And who is to say if a couple is really n love and ready to get married? I agree that society should not be able to determine if 2 people can get married. I also agree that most people do not want to see a great amount of PDA from anyone, whether its same sex couples or not. Plus, theres a large amount of male and female marriages who have not worked out. Who knows, the divorce rate of same sex couples might be lower?
