		<description>I agree with this post especially after seeing the documentary of the guy that tried to live off the minimum wage for several months (same guy that did "Super-size Me"). It was horrible and sad and I think the minimum should be raised.</description>

		<description>Minimum wage is unnecessary.  Certain positions will only provide a set level of compensation no matter how good you are at the job.  One example is a job bagging groceries this position has a ceiling to how much to the employer is willing to pay.  If someone has the drive they can work their way up the pay scale to make a higher standard of living.  The government should not tell businesses that they must pay a certain person a higher wage because they are entitled to it. That person should work harder to earn a higher paying job. What you’re proposing is Marxist socialism. “From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs,” Karl Marx.  The argument will not end at just salaries doesn’t everyone deserve a decent house shouldn’t the government provide this as well.  The answer is always no the more government regulates the less freedom you have.  Success should be something everyone strives for not something taken away from someone else to give to you.</description>
