Abby Miller (FGCU): Social Networking
Social networking is becoming more and more popular these days. The purpose of websites such as twitter, myspace, and facebook are to be in constant connection with your friends. You are able to talk to your friends, post pictures, and say what you are doing and where you are through these websites. Social Networking does have a bad side, since you post your statuses of where you are, some people may follow you and it can result in a really devastating situations. For example, you can accept a friend request of someone that you don’t know and they could follow you around and possibly, kidnap, rape, or worst case scenario kill you. However, there is now a way where you can block people, and make you profiles private so that only people you know can view your information.
