gun control by Dominic Dijamco FGCU

The United States is the leader in per capita gun deaths among industrial nations. This has sparked the debate of the right to bear arms. This has resulted in gun control laws at the federal and state levels that are trying to reduce crime and violence by restricting private gun ownership. Supporters of gun control would like even tighter restrictions. They face strong opposition from those trying to protect what they view as the right to own and bear firearms. These rights should not be taken away from the americaan people. Guns don’t kill people people kill people. The majority of crimes are commited with illegal guns. Those looking to commit a crime will usualy find a way to  get what they want and breaking the law isnt going to stop them.People will always find a way to get guns if there banned also. Making the right to bear arms illegal will just create a dangerous black market in guns possibly making the problem worse. This could possibly result in only criminals having guns. Maybe there is hope of this problem being solved by technology. There is a new  idea of a “smart gun” that will function only for its authorized user is appealing to many, but the technology is in its beginning stages.
