What is wrong with people playing video games? How many of your friends in college play video games? More and more people today are starting to rely on video games for entertainment. Yes, I believe that people spend way to much time playing these activittes but utilmately who is the one that suffers from it... they do.

I agree. This has become a serious problem with familes and their childern today. There are more ways to stopping this addication by not only limiting how much television their child watches or how much they are on the computer. some other ways are by getting their kids involved with sports and other activites and maybe by setting a time once a week that you make your kid or kids sit down with the family and have family time , that way parents don't feel neglected and the child or childern will learn some family vaules. Teaching your child that family comes first , and not video games is the key to having a happy family.

I completely agree with the writer of this blog. Video game addictions have been rising over the past years due to new gaming systems and games out in the market. These gaming systems and games aren't cheap either. Advertisers know where to advertise their products, meaning on TV or even in stores or magazines so they can appeal to the buyer (usually adolescents and teens). I believe there should be a balance between playing video games and doing other things. Vision, weight, communication, and educational problems could arise from spending too much time playing a video game, which eventually could progress into a unhealthy addiction. Having a balance between fun and work is the key.
