I would have to say I totally disagree with this post. This view on teenage moms is very stereotypical, not all teenage moms are as you portray them in this blog. I was a mother at 19 and finished high school. I have been working since i have had my son and I am going to college to become a Special Education Teacher. I do not have to depend on government funding and I am proud of what I have accomplished so far for me and my son. Yes, some teenage moms are as described in this blog, but its not fair to say that most of them fit into this category.

This is very true. Most teen pregnancies are due to lack of education, as well as limited access to resources. The lack of education leads to not really understanding the consequences of having a child at such a young age, and the less education an individual acquires usually can lead to being more deviant and promiscuous because they have little desire and determination to be successful in life. All they care about is having fun and not really worried about their future. It's sad for the those that are born to teen parents because they are raised immaturely and may lead to the same problem of teen pregnancy.
