White people such as Timothy McVeigh and Ted Kaczynski also committed terrorist acts in the United States. So should there be a similar internment camp for white people based on an equally valid fear? If not, why should Muslim's be singled out for this atrocious treatment and not other groups, including the dominant? The Japanese internment camps were and are a source of shame and a taint on that otherwise brave generation. We cannot let our decisions about human rights be driven by fear and paranoia. The bottom line is that living in a democracy is not a safe prospect, but neither is living in tyranny. If you ask me, I'll take my freedom, my human rights, and my character over safety; and I will defend the same for others.
