		<description>I don't think that the classes should be required, but at least offered with an incentive for taking it, make it an AP class so students can get college credit for it. It's such an interesting subject and it is definitely helpful in understanding a person of another religion. I agree that religious ignorance leads to religious intolerance. I don't think that the importance of religion in history is ignored in classes though, just their doctrines. They usually state the reason why something happened is because of "religious reasons".</description>
