<description>I thought this was an interesting topic to write about. Being a first-semester freshman has it's pro's and con's. Some pro's could be finally having that independence you longed for and making decisions for yourself. Some con's could be the dreaded amount of work of college courses and even the "freshman 15". Being on your own can be very exciting, but nerving at the same time. You want to have fun, be social, and live your life the way you want, but you want to keep up with your school work and maintain good grades. It all comes down to time management and balancing your schooling with your social life.
