Michael Rodill (FGCU) Male Birth Control Pill

Women have to take precautions with their bodies before they do many things in life. During menstrual cycles they have to take care of certain things and if sexually active they must take precautions against pregnancy by methods such as birth control pills. But what if that burden could be taken over by someone else? There has been extensive research and testing regarding a male birth control pill. In tests it has be proven to successfully lower sperm count, even all the way down to zero. Ask any woman and she will most likely tell you that she’ll go out herself and buy it for her partner but ask any man and he might be more skeptical. Being a man myself I enjoy the fact that I have a healthy sperm count. Ask any man and he will most likely tell you the same thing. He’ll tell you that it’s a part of the masculine persona to relish in a healthy sperm count. But then there are those who will tell you that they’d enjoy having the control. Many women use men to get pregnant and now, with this new pill, men will be able to take control and prevent such occurrences. Although a complete and marketable product is still several years down the road, the benefits are evident. This could easily better many individual’s lives.

  1. Mr. Andoscia says:

What? How do you know you have a healthy sperm count? How does it manifest in enjoyment. Are you saying you would have less enjoyment if you discovered that your sperm count was not healthy? What if you have a great sperm count, but the sperm is all screwed up? Associating manhood with sperm-count is somewhat shallow, don’t you think?
