It seems that with the fixation body image, many people who are insecure with their own image are resorting to desperate means of trying to fix it. The most common desperation is often some sort of eating disorder. These disorders include bulimia and anorexia.An eating disorder is defined as: “An eating disorder is an obsession with food and weight that harms a person’s well-being. Although we all worry about our weight sometimes, people with an eating disorder go to extremes to keep from gaining weight. There are two main eating disorders: anorexia nervosa and bulimia.”  Common problems that are associated with eating disorders are:-Stomach problems, heart problems, dry scaly skin, and several other major health problemsAs you can see, resorting to an eating disorder to improve your own body image is never a good idea. These consequences speak for themselves in this situation.
